Construction of the new facility is now complete. The doors opened in mid-October 2014;  the first permanent Animal Shelter on the Western Slope. PAWED’s goal has been reached. We realized a long standing objective – a healthy, inviting, modern animal shelter, designed to meet proven care standards and maximize successful adoptions.  Thank you to all of you who helped put the finishing touches on an exceptional community resource.
