Planned Giving

FOR THE LOVE OF PAWED AND ALL THEY DO. PLANNED GIVING:   YOUR LEGACY NOW AND IN THE FUTURE

Planned gifts are an excellent way to support what you believe in now and following your lifetime.  You can plan now for a legacy that will benefit companion animals for generations to come.  It is with animal lovers like yourself that we can together provide for the future of our communities animals.

Some examples of Planned Giving can include wills, living trusts, life insurance or retirement beneficiary designations, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts and life estate in personal residence or farm. These are all outstanding ways to support PAWED and the companion animals of our community and we suggest you work with your Estate Planner and your Financial Advisor to determine what is best for you.

  • Bequest
Your will or trust can designate that a specific amount of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate or other asset be transferred as a gift to PAWED or bequest a percentage of your estate.  This is a tax-free option.
  • Life Insurance
You can assign ownership or list PAWED as a beneficiary to your life insurance plan.  If you do both, you can receive a tax deduction while making a generous gift to PAWED.
  • Living Trust
If you want to avoid probate, a living trust is an option.  There are a multitude of trusts available but the bottom line is that a living trust, if done properly, will assure you that your wishes will be met.

If you decide to include PAWED in your Planned Giving and we hope you do, we are forever thankful for your thoughtfulness and trust in our all volunteer organization.  We would appreciate notification of your plans, so please mail the information to PAWED at 4050 Durock Road, #19, Shingle Springs, CA 95682.
