GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE
May 06, 2014
May 6th, 2014 is the day. Mark your calendar. It is day to reflect and appreciate the work done in our community by local non-profits. It is a day to support these nonprofits with direct donations. WE hope You will support PAWED on this National Day of Giving. You may donate in several ways on this special day:
- You may GIVE WHERE YOU LIVE by clicking.
- Via txt messaging PAWED on your phone to 55000, (please note that message and data rates may apply) To donate via phone enter 55000 as if it were a phone number, and then put PAWED into the message body. It doesn’t matter if it’s in all caps or not. From there, an automatic response will be sent to the donors phone (you) with a link to the ’PAWED’ giving page.As a donors you may donate as many times as you want on this day to as many nonprofits as you wish. 55000 will always be the number for the Give Where You Live event.
- You can also donate by dropping by an El Dorado Savings Bank location with a check made out to PAWED,
- Or mailing or by stopping by the El Dorado Community Foundation Office with your check. Our organization profile and the Give Where You LIVE donation link can been found on the EDCF & El Dorado County Office of Education link here.
On your phone will be able to make a standard donation of $10, $25, $50, $75, $100 or other $ amount. Or you may specifically “fund a need” with a $40 donation which will fund 2 fleece pads for cats. (Please note that we have already received donations for all 40 of the Kuranda Dog Beds – THANK YOU to everyone who contributed.)
The El Dorado Community Foundation is coordinating this effort for local charities as part of this year’s National Day of Giving, an event by Community Foundations across the country. We will be reaching out to members and donors via our website, Facebook, twitter and constant contact email.
